BardsFM County By County Part 1, Introduction originally aired on 29 September 2020. This was a benchmark show to set the foundation for the County By County framework that has been as the core of so much of the BardsFM programming. Additionally, this show was formatted to approximately 20 min. At the time, the research I had done showed that the best opportunity for the podcast was to provide a show that fit into a work commute time block. The average time of commutes at that time was 20 min. At this time the shows were pre-recorded and posted twice a week. 0:00.0	Hey, good morning, Patriots, and welcome to the week of the best of in the Bard's FM history of shows.
0:07.1	This morning show is episode 121, originally airing on September 29th, 2020.
0:15.5	This takes us way back.
0:17.0	And what's interesting is this was the original format.
0:19.8	When I say that, the original time format of the show was 20 minutes, and I based that on commute times.
0:26.0	So in the early part of the shows, there were no lives.
0:28.9	Back at that point, they were all pre-recorded.
0:31.5	And many of them were pre-recorded with a measure of scripting when I actually was writing out some of these podcasts.
0:37.0	And the time frame was locked at about 20 to 25 minutes.
0:41.4	Again, all the research that I had done up to that point was the best place for people to
0:45.9	listen to a podcast that the metrics were showing was to listen to it during their commute.
0:51.2	And the average commute time was about 20 to 25 minutes.
0:54.6	Now, the show's obviously evolved a lot since then. It's been an amazing journey to where now our
0:59.5	shows run on the average an hour long. But this is also a really important show because this
1:05.2	benchmarks the beginning of the county by county concept. So I'd often said how long it was it
1:10.4	that we've been talking about it.
1:11.8	Well, here it is. It takes us back to September of 2020. And this was the first of a nine-part series,
1:17.9	but it's a really important show to hear again. And as I listened to it myself, I really was
1:23.9	amazed at how relevant it is even to today. So I hope you enjoy the show.
1:28.2	It's a shorter show for the morning program than we normally have.
1:31.0	But again, it's a throwback to the past.
