Summary

Today we discuss the documentary Three Identical Strangers (and we try not to spoil anything), & why it's a must-see film. We hear about a boy raised as a girl after a botched circumcision. We talk about the new emojis, a fire caused by a gender reveal party, & a loft designed for you to take pics in. Hear about a ring made out of pollution, & why it's actually cool. Find out why smog is making umpires bad at their jobs, why Sarah wore one of those medical masks to the grocery store, & why vegans are mad about eggs.

I wish there was a welcome episode to 62. Hi friends. I wish there was a way that we could not even see each other before we start recording.

0:33.8

We can't resist talking about stuff.

0:45.8

We like talking to each other.

0:49.8

If that's the worst of our problems, we just like talking to each other too much.

0:55.8

We were talking about the new- well, new-ish documentary, three identical strangers.

1:05.8

I think it can- no, it's easily in my top five favorite movies of all time.

1:11.8

Me too. Like easy. Yeah. I can bump out. I can even make it take up two spots in there too. It's like two spots.

1:17.8

It's like second and fourth. It's hilarious. Not even like in a row.

1:23.8

Who knows? I have been wanting to see this film for a long time and it finally is available for on demand on Amazon Prime and iTunes to rent.

1:35.8

But it's about these triplets that didn't know they were triplets until they were 19 and a man.

1:43.8

All I had heard beforehand was you don't want it to be spoiled.

1:47.8

Yeah. And that it just keeps getting weirder and crazier for the whole film.

1:53.8

The whole film. I mean, there were multiple times where I paused the movie to see how much longer was left.

1:59.8

And I'm like, there's no way there's more. There's no way.

2:03.8

I'm getting goosebumps right now as I'm talking about it and they haven't gone away.

2:07.8

And like, how can we talk about it without ruining it for people who haven't seen it?

2:13.8

Maybe we could talk about themes. Yeah.

2:19.8

Not about the health. Well, the reason that I knew Sarah would like it is because it involves the questions of nature and nurture for us because it's so important.

2:29.8

If you're triplets, but you're not raised together, those questions come up.

2:33.8

And what kind of family you're in versus your, you know, your biology.

2:37.8

It was interesting that they found that the three boys just happened to be in upper, middle, and lower class families.
