We are doing a birth story today, which we haven't done in a while, talking to Leslie Hughes

about her experience with her birth and then also postpartum.

I feel like since going through postpartum, I'm like way more passionate about it because

I understand how lonely it can feel or how hard it gets, but like there's nothing anyone

can say or do to prepare you for it.

I feel like you just need to have unlimited support and we don't always do the best at supporting

Mama's in the postpartum period as a society.

So I really empathize with people going through it.

I feel like there were a lot of days where I didn't even know how to ask for help or like

what I necessarily needed, but it was just really, really hard.

So we talk about postpartum and it's just, it's a great conversation.

I love chatting with her and hearing her experience.

We love hearing different people's experience on here because there are no births that are

alike, no postpartum experiences that are alike.

Everyone has their own unique journey into motherhood.
