This is Paul Chowdrey and welcome to my brand new podcast, the Paul Chowdry podcast.

This is episode one, the historic episode where it all starts. Now, a lot of you know,

Russell Howard is a good friend of mine. I've been on the show countless times. I've

actually known the dude since he started in stand-up, since he was a little baby. We're going to

go into lots of history about our relationship, not like that, just during the comedy circuit and the

kind of things that went down, comedy, the process, all kinds of things which are quite intriguing

for people that aren't involved in the business. What set him on his comedy career? What changed his

life? How he's coped over the last year so without comedy, and how he treads being mainstream,

but not suitable for all the family. We recorded this one back in lockdown one, and I'll be

honest with you, this was the pilot episode, but it was so good, we thought, nah, man, we've got to put

this one out.

We also had a name change because this podcast was called Paul Chowdry's Life-Changing Podcast.

Unfortunately, some bastard released a podcast called Life-Changing,

so I had to change the title of the podcast to a podcast. The bastard.
