And happy warrior, yes, you probably already know why I call you happy warriors and why I

think of you and me as a happy warrior.

But there's actually something else too.

And it's something we've not spoken about before, but I thought you should be aware of it.

And that is the natural default of human beings is to be pessimistic, cowardly, and miserable.

It really is.

You think about how a baby is born. A baby comes into the world miserable

for good reason, you know, out of a comfortable place into this harsh world of bright lights and

doctors patting tushes and all kinds of things going on. But the baby's not naturally happy.

And little by little, we try and make the baby happy, first of all by manipulating the

environment, keeping the baby warm and dry and well fed.

But as time goes by, wise parents educate a baby to be happy, to make itself happy.

But the natural condition is miserable, whiny, complaining, grumbly.
