my guest is about to tell you a story of darkness and despair, and then ultimately redemption

from pain. And it is such an incredible story of redemption.

Now, I will say this is a story of addiction and recovery. So a little bit of discretion,

maybe with younger ones might be advised. While we don't go into anything, certainly in too much

detail, it's a heavy

story. Jason is one of my heroes. And one of the great gifts of hosting a podcast like this,

I got to sit across from him and to see his face. And you'll hear times when he's crying,

when I'm crying, the spirit in here was incredible
