There's got to be some kind of middle ground here where we lock up few people in this country.

We get them the treatment that they need. And then we take some risks, right? Because I think of even our own coverage on this kind of stuff. We're so hard on the chase of rudines of the world and they deserve it in a lot of cases. But at the same time, it takes some courage to loosen things up and say, we need to do things differently. I think there's a difference between loosening things up and like completely untying things.

And I'm Ricky Schlaught. Well, Ricky Halloween is upon us. Any big plans?

It is. No, I actually hate Halloween

and I make that my whole personality for the second half of Halloween. Yeah, no, I just can't

stand it. Tell me more because it's probably my second favorite holiday. I just feel like it's like

adults being children and that's just like celebrated. I don't know. It's cute for kids, but it's not cute when you're

drunk and sloppy and slutty. I don't know. It's not for me. What about you? I love it. You know,

from being a kid, I loved it. But when I was a school principal, we used to have, we used to take

the basement of our school and turn it into a haunted school. And I had this whole story I used to tell about how,

you know, our school was 100 years old. And, you know, 100 years ago, there was some serum that we

created to help kids perform better on tests. And it led to like all these like zombie kids that we've

been storing in the basement. See, cute for kids. Like, that's fine to me,

but I don't know. It was like a crazy haunted house. We didn't do any waivers, which was insane.

And we had the kids were part of my cast, like Elias, who works for us, was part of the cast, too.

And it was super unsafe. There were smoke machines involved, clowns whose heads would turn around 360 degrees

and all that. It was so much fun and it was a huge distraction and a very expensive distraction.

I had a photo, one of our staff members who still down there found all of my old Halloween stuff

in some warehouse that we were storing it. It was like, what the heck is all this? I had this

little robotic,

like a skeleton woman who would type on a laptop and her head would turn around like 360 degrees.
