Monday June 7th, June 7th was actually the day in 1776 that Richard Henry Lee introduced

the resolution for independence at the Continental Congress and which obviously led to July

4th and the signing of the Declaration of Independence the next month.

So yesterday was the 77th anniversary of D day.

It's crazy how quickly life goes by.

It was like yesterday when I was in elementary school we used to call these hotlines.

You didn't have the internet.

So they had these phone service just recordings about D day was the 50th anniversary.

Here we are 27 years later.

So few of those national treasures that were part of Omaha Beach very, very few of those

people left and it is it is scary what has happened to these country in the ensuing 77 years.

It wasn't just the bravery of the soldiers themselves but it was the values of a nation embodied

in those soldiers.

Those soldiers reflected and represented the values of the people at the time.

Now we have promo videos for our military is contrasted to the promos of the Russian

military that are just insane.
