all right guys let's get off the rails it's a it's Thursday and you know we're not

supposed to have any fun this week everything is serious everything is sad and just horrible

and if you're watching the news we'll try to have a little fun today we'll try to try

to my buddy Matthew Marson is here he's on the couch last time he was here he's you were

covered up with people Sarah was on all that I was so glad you're back glad you're

let me get this straight so you all right you grew up in the UK and then you bounced out of

there we'll get into that you bounced out of there went to California were you already doing

movies when you were in the UK yeah you know I always look at it as if it's a filter system right

so you know in the UK you want to be an actor you're never really going to get any work as an actor

but if you do get work as an actor you're going to be doing community theater that's about as hard

as going to say you're doing Shakespeare stuff yeah yeah you're not going to be like a big star

but you know if you kind of get through that level then you might go into the West End which is

you know the equivalent Broadway and then if you do well there you might get into television if

you do well in television you might get onto movies British movies and then if you get into

British movies then hopefully you get across to do American ones so yeah that's actually what happened

to me that was at the route you took yeah it is yeah yeah so did you did you like

every step of the way or were you doing it to get to the movies I was doing it to get to

the movies is it's a great you know I've never been asked that question I'm a great interviewer

yeah you are not just a pretty face baby no pretty face baby no I didn't want that there were a lot

of guys out there that were really exceptional at Shakespeare and they were really great on theater

on in the theater and I loved it but I loved creating new things more right like I wanted to

create my own characters rather than you know go and do Hamlet again when there's been all these
