It has been 25 years since 9-year-old Amber Hagerman was abducted off her bike in Arlington, and still, her killer has never been found. In part one of this two-part series, we'll discuss Amber's life and describe what we know about the crime that would later inspire the AMBER Alert.

Well, hello everyone. Welcome back to another episode of All Crime No Cattle. I'm Shay.

And I'm Aaron. And it's been a minute. Being personally, I've gone through some health

issues and it wasn't anything very serious, but I'm getting through it. And while I was

being sick, we weren't resting on our laurels. Aaron has actually been working on a two-part

series of a very important case that happened here locally in DFW. And a few months back,

we actually posted on our Facebook discussion group page. And we were talking a little

bit about this case and asked if everyone wanted us to cover it. And the response was

a resounding yes. So that's let us here to today. And I know there's been some new

recent updates in this case and I'm very excited to learn more about it. So why don't you

tell us what we're doing today, Aaron? That's right. The 25th anniversary of Amber

Hagermann's abduction took place on January 13th, 2021, just a few months ago. And the

surge of media coverage reminded me that we've never covered her story before on our show.
