Donald Trump has been indicted by a grand jury in Georgia for his alleged efforts to overturn the presidential election in that state. Trump and 18 allies were indicted with prosecutors using a statute normally associated with mobsters to accuse the former president, his lawyers, and other aides of a “criminal enterprise” to keep him in power. Judging by how giddy the Fulton County DA was to announce the indictment, it’s apparent that these people are thrilled to be going after Trump. In reality, this isn’t just about silencing Donald Trump. It’s about silencing anyone who supports him or anyone who questions the prescribed narrative. Those on the Left are getting what they wanted all along, which is to see Donald Trump handcuffed with a mugshot. The question is whether they’ll regret their actions, or whether this is simply the occupying regime reinforcing its power over the rest of us. Ironically, Hillary Clinton and Rachel Maddow were on MSNBC ranting about undermining democracy when that’s literally what they did for four years when Trump was president. The devastation from the Maui wildfires continues to grow and with little information coming from officials, it’s hard to believe we’re being told the whole story.
