It was awesome catching up with Sean.

We last saw each other around 15 years ago while on tour together, and it was like we didn't miss a beat picking up right

where we left off. He shares a story of working at a brand new studio with a new producer and how

this helped shape the overall vibe of the song. I'm not even sure Sean realized how many different

parts and layers were going on in this song until I started dissecting it.

It takes you on a ride from note one until the end. The lyrics are cynical and

admittedly pompous in parts which I feel give the song a

charm all its own. And how do you go from talking about ugly holiday sweaters

and mocking people singing Christmas carols to referencing John Lennon's ghost and backwards messages from the Beatles?

Well, somehow the matches did.
