I am joined by Professor Michael Rectonwald of New York University, who caused a bit of a

bit of controversy, let's say, not long ago when he created a Twitter account that at first was not associated with his name,

in which he took to Twitter to mock the social justice warriors and the general atmosphere on college campuses,

including his own, in which the students have safe spaces and people are afraid to express their views because of the totalitarians on campus.

So he was just tired of it.

And he's not even on the right.

He's just a regular professor and he was tired of this behavior.

And, well, when they found out who it was, let's just say a lot of interesting events ensued after that.

So Michael Rectinwald is a professor of liberal studies at NYU.

His areas of interest are history and philosophy of science, secularism, science, and literature, and others.

He's the author of numerous books, including in

2016, 19th century British secularism, science, religion, and literature. He holds a PhD in

literary and cultural studies from Carnegie Mellon University. Michael, welcome to the show.
