Let's blow this thing up. We got a lot to get into today. But before we do, I want to ask you a question.

You remember a few years ago when they canceled the TV show cops and what was it, live PD? And the reason they did is because people didn't want to witness the results of committing crime. Apparently it was offensive. It was mean and it was politically incorrect to watch criminals getting treated like criminals. Then you had dozens of newspapers around the country at the same time that said they were no longer going to publish those galleries of mugshots. That was entertaining stuff. Because they said it was concerning them that such reports were, quote, reinforcing negative stereotypes. So that begs a few questions in my mind.

I mean, should we just ban security cameras? Should we get rid of police sketch artist? Is it now politically negative and, you know, to stereotype or describe what a person looks like if they're a criminal?

Should we get rid of a police lineup as well?

Are the lineups diverse enough? Do we need to institute equal opportunity police lineups? I mean,

everyone's got a black guy, a red guy, yellow guy, a white guy, brown guy, and we all know the

yellow guy did it. I mean, get a grip, people. This is where we are as a society. So it should come

as no surprise when you hear these types of tropes applied to the current administration's policies of the deportation of criminals and border security. They want you to forget the facts. They want you to forget the physical details. Forget reality. Forget statistics. Forget the numbers. Forget history. Forget research, forget what your eyes and ears tell you. Let's just forget crime altogether.

Ignore it, redefine it, let anarchy reign in the name of picking crops and mowing grass.

Holding criminals accountable for doing criminal stuff isn't reinforcing stereotypes, much less

hate. Last time I checked, rape and murder were bad things.
