Summary

If you are a Youtuber or aspiring Youtuber, have a desire to explore postdoctoral education, or... actually everyone will enjoy this no matter where you are at in life. My guest today is my good friend Stephanie Buttermore, host of the very popular Youtube channel Stephanie Buttermore Ph.D.

Stephanie does not regularly appear on podcasts so this was a special treat for me and for her as well to come on and talk very openly about her graduate and postdoc phase of life, the evolution of her Youtube channel, how her goals shifted, and if you have been following her, understanding what her All In protocol was like and her results from that experience. I think you're really going to enjoy this episode because Stephanie is so open and honest and that is in thanks to you my listeners as well for being such a respective audience. Topics covered today include:

- Stephanie's Story

- The Origin of Steph's Youtube Channel

- Post Graduation and Doctoral Work

- Time Management on 2 Hours of Sleep

- Youtube Best Practices from a 798k Subscriber Channel

- Food Relationships and Eating Habits

- Goal Shifting

- Stephanie and Jeff's Relationship

- Influencer Principles

- Negativity and Criticism on Social Media and Gaining Weight

Today's guest is a really special brilliant and impactful woman so I had the

0:09.0

pleasure of talking to my friend Stephanie Buttermore. You probably know Stephanie for her influence on platforms

0:14.0

like Instagram and YouTube, but there's truly so much more to her story than people who've started

0:18.2

following her in the last couple of years and know. She's an incredibly bright woman who has

0:22.4

two master's degrees, one in women's health and one in pathology and cell biology,

0:27.0

along with holding a PhD in biomedical sciences, pathology and cell biology.

0:31.0

I was really excited to interview Stephanie for a few reasons today.

0:34.4

So a lot of you are probably here to hear about her recent all-in journey and we definitely

0:38.0

talk about that, but I was really curious to hear about Stephanie's past and academia.

0:42.5

It's not something that you hear a lot about from her since she started most of her social

0:45.9

media journey as she was wrapping up her schooling and her PhD.

0:49.4

But I think it's so awesome to hear from women who are highly educated, especially women in science.

0:54.7

I don't think Stephanie's content would be what it was now if she didn't have that heavy

0:58.8

scientific background because she does weave a lot of that into her channels and I think that's

1:02.1

one of the things that you know

1:03.6

makes her unique as an influencer and as just a female in the social media space.

1:09.0

I also knew she would have a lot of really practical tips for those of you out there with

1:12.1

rigorous schedules whether that be with

1:13.8

schooling, your job, your family, or all of the above on maintaining a healthy lifestyle with

1:18.3

more demanding schedules because as you'll hear in the episode she has absolutely been there.

1:23.4

And naturally we did talk about her all in journey, which as you'll learn in this episode, is
