I have a very, very simple, easy to answer question for conservatives, for Republicans,

and for Trump supporters.

And it really is a yes or no question that gets to the root of so many other issues.

Just stick with me.

Let me unpack and explain it.

I'm going to ask the question, and I'm going to really tell you what I know and what you know the answer is going to be.

As I'm recording this early on Tuesday morning, Donald Trump for all intensive purposes is still a free man.

Does not yet have a criminal record or a mug shot or fingerprints.

And here's the thing, I'm not proud of mug shots of fingerprints for anybody I fight against mass incarceration.

But this same system that super holds black people accountable for anything and everything from J walk into weed smoking and everything in between really just as a whole white folk accountable at the same level.

And so forgive me and others for saying like, oh wow, this system that was not built to hold Donald Trump accountable was not built to hold privileged wealthy white men accountable.

May actually do that.

And I have a question, a very simple question.

And I think it gets to the heart of a lot of what we see in America, not just with Trumpism, but also with feelings about mass incarceration, policing, jails, prisons, district attorneys.

Here's my question. I want to be to run a bush about it.

And this is really for conservatives.

If Donald Trump has broken the law, do you want him to be held accountable for it?

Yes or no.

If Donald Trump has broken the law, do you want him to be held accountable for it?

And what I know and what I think you know is that the answer for most conservatives to this question, I haven't heard anybody ask this.

The answer is no.
