Regular Season is winding down, we'll get you set with the Bulls Outlook for the upcoming playoffs, they are back in for the first time since the 2016-17 season, but you know, Stacey King is more than just basketball, he loves music, he loves entertainment, we got a special guest today that Stacey brought in after seeing him at the Bulls game the other night, Chris D Lofton, one of the stars of Power Book 4, Force, it's Sunday night on stars, if you haven't seen it, you should check it out, you got a chance to talk to him at the arena, and looking forward to visiting with him.

Yeah, it's gonna be a lot of fun, I'm a big fan of the power universe, and he's a big, big part of the force show, he's a big Bulls fan, he's Chicago native, he was at the game the other night, and it was always Milwaukee game, he was at the Milwaukee game, and we happened to flash him on the screen, and normally we kind of pan through the crowd during time outs and stuff, so we were panning through, and then it was almost like no one knew that was him, and then I'm like whoa, that's my power guy right there, that's my game,

right there, stop stopping, so we stopped, and then we started seeing him, and they were having a good time, and it was really cool, and then I contacted him after the game, because he hit me on Twitter, because he wanted to let us know that he was from Chicago, so next thing you know, we started talking to him via Twitter, and then the rest is history, he's on the show.

So that's coming up, and if you have not seen the show, it is set in Chicago, drug wars, turf wars, different families trying to get control of the drug business in Chicago, it's an incredibly intense show, it's a lot of fun to watch, and Chris is gonna take us through how we got involved with that, and we'll talk about a whole lot of things with him coming up.

First of all, let's talk about the bulls back in the playoffs, and Stacy, this has been kind of a bittersweet kind of period, everyone's excited about the bulls being in the playoffs, but unfortunately because of injuries and circumstance, they're not playing their best basketball right now, can they turn it around in time for the start of the post season?

They're gonna have to, or it's gonna be a short series, I mean, the playoffs are totally different than the regular season, so with the way they're playing at the end of the season, you do not want to go into the playoffs with not playing your best basketball, or it's gonna be a short series, so I'm hoping they can turn it around, at the end of the day, Mark, we talked about this, and I tell Bulls fans this all the time, there's probably six or seven guys who've never been to a playoff, so people say, well, you get to the playoffs, you lose in the first round, what good is that?

Anytime you make the playoffs is a learning experience, and it's a great experience, so you gotta keep that in mind, and all for all the people, the casual fans, who are kind of jumping off the bandwagon now that the bulls are struggling a little bit, let me remind you, we could be the Lakers right now.

That's true, they're gonna be the Lakers right now, they're going home.

This team won 31 games last year, they showed improvement last year with Billy Donovan, going from the Jim Boyle in seasons, they had won 26 games, I think, that the year before Billy Donovan came, so they were plus five or six last year, if Zach Levine doesn't go out, they may be in the playoff, a play-in game last year, so they would have gotten an opportunity at least to be in the playoffs, but he missed the last part of the season, which hurt them.

You got a vooch in the trade, so that was a kick start for this season, then you turn around, you get DeMar de Rosent, Lonzo Ball, Coruso, Derek Jones Jr., a bunch of guys that completely turns your team around, and you were number one most of the year, I think that's where fans are a little disappointed, because it's like, wait a minute, this is not the same team that was leading top three team in the NBA during the beginning of the season, but you gotta factor in the injuries.

It's a COVID, and yeah, every team went through it, every team experienced it, but you know what, at the end of the day, this team is going to be plus 15 games, wins from last year, which is a huge jump, and if you know anything about sports, there's levels to this, you don't just go from 31 wins to winning an NBA championship, but as much as we all would want to, it doesn't happen, show me a team that didn't make the playoffs the year before,

and won 30 games or less, and then won the championship the next year. I'm pretty sure you won't find one, unless there's unless it was something 19, you know, 1930s or 40s, you know, when they weren't even calculating basketball back then.

You mentioned Lonzo Ball. We learned earlier this week that he is going to miss the remainder of the season, that bone bruise just never really healed. They said that the meniscus surgery, that repair was done, and that's fine, and every tried to ramp up his running and his cutting, his lateral movement,

yet he had pain in that knee. He's had a lot of injuries throughout his career. The hope is he can come back next season to be 100% healthy because he means so much to this team with his defense, his playmaking, his three point shooting, he helps you at both ends of the court.

I tell you what, I mean, you know, when you look back on this, you know, in the early this season, you know, you're at people saying that, you know, I was ready to take, you know, you know, take over the role.

Yeah, you know, Kobe White is a better point guard and so ended up, you know, and then you start to realize as the games went along, how important Zo is, and he is a very important. I guarantee if you ask AK Mark and, you know, Billy Dottavan and a coaching staff, what is the one guy that's irreplaceable?

He would be the first guy on your list because of so the things that he can do, he can do so many things to help your team win that sometimes I think fans take for granted, you know, this guy, you remember, he's a point guard. He was the second leading rebounder on our team.

He was a guy when you pair him with Caruso, I would say it's equivalent to two lockdown corners, you know, having Dion Sanders on one side and, you know, Ronnie lot on the other side, two lockdown corners that your receivers could not get anything.

Okay, so when you had both those guys on the floor, they were a tear. The bulls were like one of the top teams defensively with those guys with that with that lineup intact and when he went out, you could tell the defense wasn't the same.

You could tell the on ball pressure from guards were not the same. This was also a guy that if you ran a pick and roll and a pick and switch between the one and the four, the five, he could hold his own against a Yannis in the post.

He could hold his own against a center like Anthony Davis and you wouldn't have to double team to help him out because he's such a good defensive player that he would attack your dribble if you try to back him down.
