Well hello there. We are officially well into the second week of January. Who's already broken

the New Year's resolutions? Who's making change, who's made big changes.

What was quite interesting actually this week is that I sent out an email and it was about

my book, Love, Care Trust and Respect and it was just to a group of people.

And in it it shared a story about a woman who at 17, she didn't do as well in her exams as she wanted to and I guess as was expected from her.

And from there she was sort of lost for a couple of years and then a friend of hers suggested

to her that she get a job at the same place as her in the accounts department.

You know, it was supposed to be easy money, not much agro, they would be free to party,

they could contribute a bit at home. In that time and so it's now we're now almost

20 years down the line you know she has gained qualifications you know she's really

moved up the ladder at work is, you know, highly respected, she's quite senior, she's really unhappy.

This is a career that she fell into and I shared that story because when we don't consciously choose what we really want to do, you know, what we actually need,

we will wake up in a life that really doesn't feel good and right for us. That is often reflected in our

relationships where because of the way that we feel about ourselves we sort of decide, oh well I'm not good enough, we think to ourselves, well you know I would like to go with that person, but actually I'm not quite there yet what if they went out with me and they got really close to me and discovered that I wasn't really good enough.
