Summary

In McAllen, Texas in 1960, a young woman named Irene Garza was found dead after going to confession at her church. Although suspicions swirled about the identity of her killer, the case went unclosed for decades. This is a story of a cover-up, religious doctrine, political intrigue, and a family’s 50-year quest for justice.
