Everybody, welcome to the show. It is Wednesday, August 10th, 2022. Time is flying by.

By history is going into the tomb of time. And unfortunately, we do not seem to be learning

from it. 161 years ago at 4.30 a.m. on a cold April morning, something started in this country

that would change the shape of its destiny forever. Something that tested the medal of this

fairly newly formed nation by rending its fabric right down the middle, something that ultimately

snuffed out the lives of 620,000 Americans. We call it the Civil War. And I'm praying to God

that we don't soon have to refer to it as Civil War I because Civil War II has come along

to take its place in the dark annals of our very young history. President Trump's Florida

resident Mar-Marlago was rated. Yes, rated. That is the right terminology. Just the other

day on Monday, August 8th, it was rated by the FBI under the direction of course of President

Biden's Department of Justice. The raid was signed off on by the head of the DOJ,

Merrick Garland, and was carried out while Trump was away in New York on other business.

Now, the ostensible subject of the raid was, and this is the Get Out The Popcorn moment,

classified documents supposedly belonging to the Library of Congress, which had not been

returned yet since Trump's departure from the White House back in January 2020. That's

right, basically an overdue library book. So, yes, instead of serving a subpoena, the

way that would probably do for anyone else in the world, not named Donald John Trump, the

DOJ determined instead to make an example of the president. And in the most inflammatory way

possible, short of arresting and frog marching him into a waiting police car, this is exactly

what they did. Folks, this is what we refer to in the professional world of color commentary

it as bullshit, quite honestly. There's no better word for it. Now, there's a lot about
