They said, get her back on. And I knew by the end of that episode, we definitely needed to do that because I wanted to talk a little bit about her own intellectual evolution. Because she's a Rothbardian today. And something tells me that when she entered the military years ago, she was not. So what was going on? What accounts for that change? Now, remember, Karen is a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel, whose assignments included duties as a Pentagon desk officer and a variety of roles for the National Security Agency.

At the time of 9-11, she was in the Pentagon working as an analyst, and she became one of the people who spoke out about the corruption of the

intelligence gathering process on the eve of the Iraq war, the buildup to that war.

So I'm delighted to welcome her back to the show.
