Well, it's been a crazy 24 hours, but anytime you speak truth to power, particularly anytime you call out the racism and bigotry from the richest man in the world.

Of course, people are going to push back. People who don't mind his racism and bigotry and even worse support it.

So it's borderline hilarious to see Donald Trump Jr. and others say that they were glad I was gone from Twitter when I was literally just trying to secure my account because it seemed like people were very close to being able to hack into it.

So here we are. I'll try to unpack and explain it. Tell you what's going on. This is Sean King and you were listening to the breakdown.

I honestly sincerely earnestly think that Elon Musk purchasing Twitter is dangerous. He has called himself a free speech absolutist saying that all legal speech should be allowed on Twitter.

But what the people who run Twitter and run Facebook and run TikTok and run Instagram and run other social media platforms have found is that some speech is legal, but very, very dangerous.

And all I'm trying to push back is what speech is currently not allowed on Twitter that you are desperate to bring back because almost all speech is allowed on Twitter.

You can spread fake news that is currently not spreading fake news is legal in the United States. It's becoming illegal in certain countries around the world. But on Twitter, it is allowed and in the country, it is legal to spread fake news.

Now during election time, they sometimes make it a violation to spread fake news about the elections, but currently almost all fake news is allowed.

There are only a few types of things that aren't allowed on Twitter. Of course, anything that's illegal offline is also illegal online.

So I'm assuming that anything that's illegal, that's why Elon Musk said, hey, all legal speech, I'm for it and would allow it.

So what we have found though is that hate speech, which in some countries is illegal. Hate speech in America is legal.

But all social media platforms have found that it is so dangerous on the platforms that they had to ban it. And so my question is simple.

I already can imagine how people feel about African Americans and Muslims and undocumented immigrants and other groups. So I frame my question this way. It is currently banned on Twitter to promote hate speech against Jews.

It is against the Twitter terms of service to have hate speech against Jews. Are you going to wipe that from the terms of service to now allow hate speech from everyday conservatives all the way to neo-Nazis and Nazis?

Are you now going to allow hate speech against Jews? Because that is currently against Twitter's terms of service.

Simple question. And when I posed that question just a few minutes ago on Twitter, which I which I did not delete, I only took it down so we could figure out what was wrong because it was clear that in addition to getting death threats that people were trying to hack all of my accounts and it seemed like someone was close to getting in my Twitter account.

I posed the question on Twitter. So conservatives do you now want to make hate speech against Jews allowable on Twitter and overwhelmingly hundreds and hundreds of conservatives said, yes, I do.

I want hate speech against you. I'm talking about not just people with fake accounts, people with their real accounts.

And this is what Elon Musk is advocating for hate speech that will target groups of people and cause actual harm.

And it's dangerous. And here's the thing. Twitter is not new. Twitter has been around now for a generation.
