Hello, everybody. Amazing. We are at episode number 600.

In today's episode, I'm actually playing you another talk, and this is another one

that I am virtually certain you've never heard. Regular guests will resume tomorrow,

and in fact, within the next week or so, I will be talking both to Scott Horton and to Justin

Ramando. I've been having requests for both, and so they are coming back. We have a bunch of other

fun topics to be hitting over the next week or so. But anyway, what I want to do is tell you a

little bit about what you're going to hear today. Now, some of this you may not agree with,

because it is my view that it's not immoral to vote. It may be a waste of your time. It may be fruitless. It may be a lot

of things, but it's not immoral. I don't believe it is. Lysander Spooner did not believe that it was.

There is a reasonable tradition of people among libertarians who believe that it's not. That doesn't

mean that we're right. It just means that I'm not the only one, so if you're upset at me, you better also be upset at Murray Rothbard. Anyway, this was the 2013 Illinois Libertarian

Party Convention. And even though I do say we from time to time, I'm generally thinking about

libertarians in general. I'm not actually a member of any political party, but they did invite me

all the same, and I shared some thoughts about

what ought to be done, and I hope you like it. I took out some of the opening banter,

even though I thought, even though it is kind of funny, actually, the opening banter. Maybe I'll

keep the opening banter in. I can't decide. I don't know. Who knows? We'll see. We'll see

what I do. If it seems like I start mid-sentence, then you know that I decided to take the opening banter out.
