Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of the show. We're talking today about

humanitarian intervention. This is a very, very commonly heard argument in favor of military

involvement in the affairs of other countries. Well, we have to get involved for the sake of

helping people who are suffering in one way or another. Maybe they're suffering at

the hands of some government or at the hands of some bad people or whatever, and therefore we

need military intervention. So it's the kind of argument that libertarians have to wrestle with

at one time or another. And joining us to talk about this today is our old friend now, Lori Calhoun,

who is a research fellow of the Independent Institute, and she is also the author of a couple of

books that are relevant to the discussion. One of them is war and delusion. And the other is called

We Kill Because We Can, from soldiering to assassination in the Dron Age.
