at the American Capitol.

And today I want to play you some original audio of what was on my mind and heart and

what I was thinking the day after the attacks on the Capitol.

I want to play an episode from 364 days ago.

These are my thoughts from January 7th of 2021.

There's one primary point I want to talk about today and it's that I already see something

really, really disturbing happening now.

We already know and it's been said and it should be said over and over again.

I've said it and the leading commentators and thinkers and writers have all said it if

it was anybody other than white people who stormed the Capitol yesterday.

Literally breaking down the doors, literally breaking through windows, scaling walls and

fences, breaking into offices, including of the speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

Literally the Nancy Pelosi is third in charge of the American government.

She is in the line of succession.

They broke into her office, accessed her computers, stole her mail, ripped open all of her files

and four people died.

It was the first time that the American Capitol has been taken over since the war of 1812

and four people died.
