Summary

Today I talk about the social contract arguments we encounter from critics all the time, and how we might answer them. Plus, a digression on entrepreneurship, and how I'm teaching my kids that sitting around hoping someone will hire you is the wrong way to advance your career in the modern economy. Enjoy!

I, you know, I've talked about the social contract before, so I'm going to actually share

1:40.2

with you a few minutes from a video that I did on it, and then I'm going to add my further

1:44.5

commentary. But then, about halfway through the episode, I want to switch gears and talk about

1:48.9

something else that people really liked that I wrote recently, and not everybody gets my

1:54.6

newsletter. That's just the way the world is. You know, not everybody's going to get your
