to us as a recommendation from our old friend Bob Higgs.

I'm a friend of his on Facebook, and some time ago he posted that his friend Lori Calhoun had a book coming out, and it sounded very interesting, so I looked into it, and I thought, yes, this is a definite for the show, and Bob helped me get in contact with her, and now we're able to have this wonderful program.

Lori Calhoun is an author and research fellow of the Independent Institute, and she is the author most recently of We Kill Because We Can, from soldiering to assassination in the Dron Age.

And the book is largely but not exclusively about the use of

remote control killing of suspects with drones and the consequences and implications of that as a

Quite a provocative and in-your-face title. I love

in-your-face titles. Just get to the point. We kill because we can is the main title and the

subtitle is from soldiering to assassination in the drone age. This thing is provocative from page

one.

So I almost don't, there's so much that I would like to ask you, and I want to make sure we do justice to the book.
