I am on a change. What about you?

So we're back. The last podcast we talked about overcoming difficulties,

fighting forgiveness, they quite the tale to tell us. But really it really is just a

kind of great sort of illustration of arch for what we're talking about in the

book of Hebrews, especially in chapter 5, because we talked about the Hebrew

sort of making this idea about the priesthood in Jesus. And then there's what I

would call kind of an interlude before we get to chapter 7 when he's going to flesh

that out a lot more, where he does what he's done in every chapter so far,

which is give a warning to the people that he's writing to. Because obviously a

lot of people have gone back under the old system, the old covenant that,

you know, as we read here, they at least understood Jesus, they knew, you know,

why he came. At some point they seemed to embrace that, but then it wasn't enough

for him. And so they went back under law, which we think about it is to leave

Jesus and leave what he offers. You really do, what do you call it?

Well, he's fixing to get introduced to this idea of having a sure hope. And when

you try to wrap your head around that, and I really feel like hope is the least

stressed aspect of those three things from first Corinthians when he said faith,

hope, and love. And we talk about faith. I mean, in the religious world as a general

rule, because people are unsure how you follow an invisible being. And so you,

well, it's a faith. It's called something called faith. And then he said the
