In this episode, I'm going to share with you some secret tips that make the Commit to Sixth program so successful, as well as more generally the way that I approach fat loss.

Great, I know. So essentially, the way that you feel drives your behaviours, influences your

actions. And this is why I focus so heavily on mood first. Like if this isn't the first episode

foremost, from a coaching standpoint, I want to show you how

great you can feel. And I know that you're probably here for fat loss. But fat loss is way

easier when you feel good. Looking after yourself is way easier when you feel good. Going to the gym is way

easier when you feel good. Having motivation to do these things is way easier when you focus on

feeling good first. Like everything seems so much easier on the days that you feel good, right? Like

just think about the days that you're in a good mood and you're like, yeah, even like little annoying

things or something being late or you're having a lot of work or something stressful

happens. Like everything seems more manageable. On the days where you're in a bad mood, everything seems like

a disaster. So when you focus on mood first, and I'm not saying you'll never be in a bad mood,

but when you focus on mood first primarily, the likelihood is all other actions become far easier.

And I think sometimes we look too far down the chain, right? So we're focusing on things like

how many calories you should eat or the protein content, which I'm

not saying I completely ignore, I'm a coach, of course I focus on these things, but the fundamental

is it's easier to take those actions when you first focus on mood. Because really what's

important as a coach is behaviour change, not the exact calories that someone's sticking to.
