Welcome, folks, to this edition of the Hagman Report.

I'm Doug Hagman.

Thank you for having me tonight.

A lot of stuff to get into.

The second hour, Coach Davis is going to join me in the second hour.

I'm so glad he is because, as I said last night, you know, and folks, please understand where I'm coming from.

I'm coming from, at least in my, based on my perspective, a realistic assessment of where we're at. And I think where we're at

demands our action, not our words, not our social media postings, not our video postings,

but our action.

And we cannot, at least in my view, as I said yesterday, opening or close to opening here,

with age comes wisdom.

Hopefully it comes a wisdom.

And we have abandoned the unspoken code of civility, decency, respect, discipline.

We've abandoned all of that.

And we abandoned what we have been taught in our youth if you were so lucky, and that is character.

Character, as I said yesterday, forged in humility and trial.

Not self-promotion.

Not this self-grandizement, not applause, not how many friends or followers we have, because

there neither.

And when you look at the news, I question everything I see today.

I had the occasion to talk with someone's very close to me today and locally.
