Queen of Chaos, the Misadventures of Hillary Clinton.

I came up with this idea after talking to Daniel McAdams, and we were reading one of Diana's articles during the conversation, and I thought, why have I not had her on? I have benefited

from her work over the years very, very much. She is a regular contributor to counterpunch.org,

and she's the author of Fool's Crusade, Yugoslavia, NATO, and Western Delusions. But today we're talking about her book,

Queen of Chaos. And of course, you can probably tell Diana comes to us from the left,

which is why I find her book so interesting. It is a devastating indictment of Hillary Clinton,

but not on Rush Limbaugh grounds. She makes a very, very interesting case.

I don't agree with every aspect of it, but anybody who says Ron Paul ought to be made

defense secretary, I can accept, and I'm quite happy to talk to. But also the merits of her work

are very great, particularly on the Balkans in the 1990s.

She was one of the only people on the right or the left speaking any sense about what was going

on there. And I was the beneficiary of her work when I was writing about these subjects in my

own book, 33 questions about American history you're not supposed to ask.
