So originally I wanted this to be the sports editor of the Boston Globe, Joe Sullivan,

and the sports editor of the Boston Herald,

Sean Leahy, Joe Sullivan elected not to do it.

He's turned this down many times in the past, so I just went with Sean.

I thought it was actually a pretty good discussion on where newspapers are right now.

What's going with social media why he's not

have a media columnist which I think they have to have how do you run the tabloid in

2017 how do you run a sports department 2017 where the newspaper business is is it dying is it not it's kind of

stuff I like and it's sort of insiders and wonky and you might not like it but if you do

like that stuff I think it's a pretty good conversation with a good guy and I just dropped the microphone right there

Maybe too nice of a guy for me for be it to be a tabloid sports editor in 2017

But maybe there's an asshole underneath. I don't know but it's a good discussion with a good guy and if you like newspapers if you like media stuff
