And welcome back to the conservative review podcast here on this fine Monday to start off

a new week on August 5th.

And look, I'd be lying to you if I'd say I'm happy to come back here excited for a new

week because frankly, these are the type of weeks where I wish I did something else for

a living.

We're at a point in this country where every last thing that happens, whether it sports,

whether tragedy, it's all political.

We used to have several sections of a newspaper.

One was politics.

Now it's all politics.

I was telling a colleague here, I conservative review that I think we're now at a point

even if we had another 9-11, we can never come together the way we did, at least temporarily,

as a nation, just because of technology.

I mean, social media, what it's done to all of us and that we're all at each other's

throats.

Now there's a lot of bad to technology in the internet.

And I think as we're going to discuss, a lot of that is really what's fueling the growing

copycat mass shooting mentality.

But certainly I am excited about the good part that we could still exercise our first amendment,

push back against the lies and obfuscation of the legacy media, which is really just appalling.
