The Amazing Cake Kacy!

Welcome back to another week's episode of Reality Life with Cake Kacy. This week,

Catherine Villar in Boston asked me to watch a show called Rattled. The Drew Barrymore

produced show follows several couples in the days before they had their first baby and follows

them throughout the year. And I have to say, I could not relate to any of the couples,

most of which was this one couple that was a 40-year-old man who impregnated his 27-year-old

girlfriend. And the same guy complained to the nurses that he wanted the baby to not get formula,

like a supplement of formula, even though his girlfriend, the mother of his baby couldn't make

enough breast milk. And I have to say, there's nothing more annoying than a husband who thinks he

knows what he's talking about. And this guy kept saying, but you don't understand, my mom's a

lactation nurse. I don't care if your mom's a CEO of the hospital. You're not the mother

and you are not the nurse. So shut up. Like, if you did not push this baby out of your body or have

a medical degree in any capacity, you're the last person that should be voicing an opinion on the

breast milk. And I found out in one of the subsequent episodes that he runs a demolition business.

So, you know, even more reason for him to shut up. And it reminded me of whenever I'm pregnant,

I hate it when I hear other couples, like the husband will say, well, you know, we're pregnant.

Like, no, you're not pregnant. She's pregnant. Do you have varicose veins? Do you have a human's head

resting on your bladder? Do you have hemorrhoids? How is your vaginal mucus? You are not pregnant.

...
