So if any of you out there listen to a lot of podcasts like I do, you might notice the same thing that I've recently noticed.

There seems to be one perspective that we really don't hear from much.

We hear a lot from adults who have lost their faith

and what they've experienced going through that process. But here's the thing.

Many of these individuals are adults and many of them are the

things are adults and many of them are married and even have kids.

Have you ever thought about what the kids must be experiencing and thinking

while watching their own parent or parents stop believing

and attending in the LDS Church?

So let's say, for example, that there was this guy who experienced a crisis of faith a few years ago while serving on the State High Council.

Then he abruptly stops attending church for a while.

He then later returns to church as a form of

compromise to make his marriage and his relationship with his spouse work. He's

come out to a few people about no longer believing, including his spouse, but yet he hasn't quite come out to his kids and many others.

Let's say this guy has three kids, and his oldest daughter is going to be graduating from primary soon and entering the

young women's program.

He and his spouse decide that now is the time that he needs to come out to his kids. Coming out to his wife was the most

difficult person to come out to. But coming out to his kids is a very close second.
