but there's a heavy law

enforcement community who listens to the podcast so it's cool to get someone

from that community on who's written about it.

And we don't have very many police officers on the show because we focus more on the military.

And when we do, I mean, I mean we've had like NYPD cops on before, but then those are

big town police departments obviously, big town police departments

and to be fair you know like the one i'm thinking of is ricky he's he's a newer police

officer is not you know this guy's had a 20 year yeah well you hear we'll get into this well I'll ask I'll ask um Edward about it but you don't really hear from small town police officers too often it's like one of those things that kind of like

slips through the cracks. Like you hear about big cities and you hear about big city

corruption and big city police brutality but you don't so often hear about small town police departments and especially if

you look at small town newspapers they've been closing down in record

numbers like there's very there's very few small town newspapers nowadays so

there's not too much reporting on them and then even from the standpoint of like

police officers writing books about their career again not so not so much out there that you hear from small town cops.

So I think it's actually, when I can't, stumble across this book, I thought, well, that's kind of a unique point of view that we can reach out there and grab

and get on the podcast that you don't hear from very often. Yeah I agree and
