woman who is senselessly murdered by someone who is typically thought of as helping others

and not hurting them.

Then we'll delve into the trial of the person accused of this heinous crime and see if justice

is served.

On Friday night, October 16, 2015, Julia Gough and her roommate, Haley Massmore, went to

a local bar in Orlando, Florida for a few drinks.

Shortly after midnight, when they were done at the bars and ready to head home, Haley

used her phone to summon an Uber.

While Haley was using the app to arrange for their ride, Julia noticed a young, dark-haired

woman about a block in front of them, stumbling and looking as though she was intoxicated.

The woman was walking alone and Julia watched as a car full of several men pulled up alongside

of her and started calling out to her.

It made Julia really uncomfortable and so she decided to intervene.

She ran up to the woman and introduced herself, asking where the woman's friends were and

telling her that she was worried about her being by herself.

The woman was really friendly, Julia thought, and linked arms with her, saying that her name

was Sasha and that she was trying to get home.

Julia told her that she and her roommate were about to catch an Uber, but that they would

be happy to take Sasha home first if she wanted.
