Welcome back to another episode of Reality Life with KKC.

Let me first tell you that I grew up with a mother that was adamant about the importance

of setting a table correctly.

To the point where I think she should have been part of this documentary because this

is ridiculous and amazing at the same time.

So once a year, a group of feverishly determined table-setters buy for the best of show-riven

at the Orange County Fair table setting competition, often referred to as the Olympics of table-setting.

Contestants can spend over six months preparing their table to compete and ultimately be judged.

A mere misplaced spoon can mean the end for an otherwise perfect table, but like any competition,

it's not without a stromattox.

Old rivalries, controversy and eccentric personalities, which are my favorite, come to

a head as set explores topics far beyond the silverware.

Again, this air is on Discovery Plus and it's this Friday.
