Summary

I can't remember if it's week 3 or 4 but all I know is we have got to get together and chat for more than one week in a row and it's so exciting I honestly can barely believe it. This episode is special to me because we are diving into this idea of control and the fact that at the end of the day, it's one of life's greatest illusions. With everything that went down at the end of last year the feeling of having all and yet none is such a real experience and one that I wanted to share with you. 1:11.7	I just looked on my bed and remembered we're doing, not to segue, but this is just our life together.
1:18.9	The girls at our school's auction, they auction these things called teacher features. They are
1:23.7	the item, right? They're part of the sign auction. They are a hot ticket item. The kids love
1:29.6	their educators. And like that makes my heart happy. They love the aides, the art teachers.
1:34.9	It doesn't matter if it's a specialty teacher, the homeroom teacher. They adore them. And so they do
1:40.0	these teacher features. And so we snagged our assistant athletic director's teacher feature
1:44.6	of mini golf. And with everything going on in life and stuff, we just couldn't make it happen.
1:48.9	So he'd reached out and said, like, so today the girls get out of school early and we are going
1:54.2	to go do that. I'm literally going to sprint after I record this to the rest of the day to get to there
