Back in Eden, God told Adam and Eve to work the garden and maintain it,

to cultivate and create and use the brain he gave them to make something useful, ultimately for God's glory.

He also told them to be fruitful and multiply and subdue the earth.

This applies to babies and families, but to cultivate and be fruitful is really so much more.

It's to initiate growth or produce something good, something beneficial.

And I believe God has given us all unique passions and personalities that can be used to point

to him in all aspects of life. Whether you're launching a new business or planting a physical garden

or teaching your toddler how to use a fork or writing a song or creating a safe haven in your

home or maybe you're leading a Bible study or doing something out of the box like my guest today. or writing a song or creating a safe haven in your home.

We are all called to use what he's given us and cultivate as he compels us.
