Hello and welcome back. Thank you guys. Listeners for joining in for the continuation of Potterless,

the journey of a 24-year-old man reading a series of children's novels. I'm back with Amanda

to talk more in depth about book two of the series, The Chamber of Secrets. Amanda, you're ready

to get into this. I'm so ready to find out what this title means. Let's do it. Yeah, we haven't

learned what the title is yet, which is you always find out halfway through. Yeah, there's a

moment in every book where where the title is dropped and you're like, oh man, I see what you do

in there. That's how I made like the learning what that package was in the first one. I was like,

hmm, I wonder what this package is. They haven't said what the sorcerer's stone is yet. I bet it's

the sorcerer's stone. I bet that's the one. There's a secret dungeon under Hogwarts that no one's

ever talked about. I bet that's the chamber of secrets. So we get into chapter seven now, which is

called mudbloods and murmurs with hunky Oliver Wood. My first note is all caps. Finally mudbloods

because this is one of the many things like I know words exist, but I don't know what they are.

Mudbloods is one. Horror cruxes is another. Yes. These are all things I know exist, but I've

no idea what they mean. Yeah, there's lots of like important

explication in the next four chapters. So one of those constructs that is when it come up again and

again that you need to know for the rest of the series is the pure blood versus mudblood debate
