We've talked about the 270 before, many moons ago, many podcasts ago.

But this is a notable event.

A hundred years.

A hundred years.

Introduced in 1925.

This is the year 2025. And I'd say this thing is as strong as it was back then,

if not stronger. When it comes to popularity, use, field performance, success in the field.

I mean, people continue to, not critters down with it. People continue to

purchase rifles chambered for this cartridge. And I don't know, man, it doesn't appear to be

slowing down. No, it's still remarkably commercially viable. The origin story of what you sometimes call the 270 a 6 or no excuse me the 27 ot 6th

let's talk about that we i mean we just talked about the okay wait hold on when is this coming out

i don't know i don't know spoiler alert i don't have the calendar in front of me but we just talked

about the 338 ot 6 the other the other day. That's true.

This is the 27-0-6. 27-0-6.

Imagine a need for a faster, flatter-shooting cartridge at a time when we were just over the hill into smokeless powder territory.

That is hard to believe.

Yeah, 29 years after the introduction of the first commercial smokeless round.
