0:23.6	I was sitting fifth row or so, center, center line for that speech at the Libertarian National Convention in May, so six months ago, I guess.
0:34.6	And I took it seriously. I took it to heart. Now, you have to keep in mind,
0:40.6	in that speech, the pitch that he was making was that he wanted the libertarian party to
0:46.3	endorse him for the presidency. Legally, the libertarian party cannot do that. So what we did,
1:00.0	essentially, was all of our influencers, which I guess I'm part of, ultimately ended up coming around to the decision that it was best to support him over the candidate
1:04.9	that we ended up nominating for the LP because he was so bad.
1:08.9	And apparently that wasn't enough. Apparently, maybe,
1:12.9	I don't know if they knew that the ask was illegal, that we couldn't actually formally endorse
1:18.1	him as a party. And maybe that's why they made the pitch in the first place. That's, if you want
1:22.8	to be real conspiratorial about it, that's one angle. Or he just was booed out of the room and wasn't
1:30.7	endorsed and he didn't know that we weren't able to legally endorse him. And he's decided that,
1:36.3	well, obviously you guys didn't support me. So I don't owe you a damn thing. Maybe that's it.
1:41.1	I don't know. Obviously, my personal opinion is that I didn't really vote for Donald Trump because I expected
1:48.1	him to put a libertarian in the cabinet. I'm sure some libertarians did.
1:51.9	If you've listened to, if you read either my lengthy explanation on X as to why I ultimately
1:58.7	decided to support him, or if you watch my episode where I said why this lifelong libertarian is finally going to vote for Donald Trump, I don't even think I mentioned that if I did, that it certainly wasn't a focal point.
2:11.3	To me, the biggest risk that we face is World War III and that Donald trump gives us us the best opportunity of you know
