Summary

Jordan chats SOLO on this episode all about how she became a full-time blogger. It starts with her time in college and her decision to make a plant-based blog on a whim (funny story there). She also goes into diving into veganism, becoming The Blonde Vegan, making the decision to drop out of grad school and simultaneously transition away from veganism, CHANGING brands from The Blonde Vegan to The Balanced Blonde, learning how to avoid burnout, learning how to delegate and lean on support, what she has learned along the way as a blogger, and more.

Hi guys, welcome back to the Balanced Bond podcast, Solon Fire.

0:13.2

So I thought it was time for another solo episode.

0:17.8

I did my first ever solo episode with you guys a month ago and it was on trauma and

0:25.1

it got real personal, real fast.

0:28.8

And I have to say that episode was the most therapeutic experience I have ever had.

0:36.8

1:14.4

for your whole life and you just have to find ways to deal with it.

1:19.5

That was a really healing episode for me to do.

1:22.4

And I feel like it kind of transitioned the way that I feel about sharing on this podcast

1:28.6

and made me really comfortable, really comfortable just being me and talking into the microphone,

1:34.8

which at first I wasn't sure how that would feel for me.

1:38.0

But it felt really natural and really authentic.

1:41.2

And I kind of like the vibe sometimes of just talking to you guys and not balancing

1:46.7

another energy and all the guests on this podcast have been so wonderful.

1:53.2

And I have like five or six interviews recorded that are coming out over the next few weeks
