So we're going to call this the summer of first edition of our bonus episode. And so Steve, you had a number of firsts this summer. And it's been an unusual summer to say the least. And so to have a bunch of first during the summer, I think is really kind of fun and interesting. So let's start at the beginning. Where should we start? What was your first new Disney experience this summer?

0:55.7

So it's been obviously, it seems a little bit redundant to say it's a weird time and a weird summer, right?

So I was supposed to have a 65th birthday surprise for my mother rented a nice, the grand villa at Old Key West for a couple of days over the course of her birthday.

As this pandemic was playing out, we didn't know what would be open,

1:12.5

what we would have access to, and also my mother's just turned 65 and my stepfather. So they're in

1:17.6

a high risk age range. So I thought, let's postpone this until there's a time when we could

1:21.9

really, I think, do this properly. So I have these points from our DVC contract. And I thought about potentially banking, but I'm a little bit worried about availability in the future. And then what we ended up doing effectively was going to Hillhead that had just recently opened and believe about 10 days before we arrived back in June. And we stayed there for the week and we rented in one bedroom. And it was awesome. I don't want to frame any of this about, like, be overly positive because of the midst of this pandemic and all this suffering that's taking place right now globally, you know, so it's a little weird to say like try to have like a silver lining about things. But, you know, for us, I don't know if we would have been motivated or had the points to go to Hilton. So that was really cool. The resort was absolutely beautiful. It may have been

2:00.9

one of the nicest and cleanest rooms we have ever been in. There was certainly that level of

2:06.5

anxiety going in, but I thought they handled things really well, you know, stuff that I think has

2:12.0

been mentioned on your shirt to some of their practices, but even more so there, I felt like

2:16.2

they were taking more precautions or had more procedures than I had noticed and stays subsequent to that at other DVC resorts in Disney World. And there's probably a lot of logistical reasons for that. But Hilton has, of course, more contained. You don't have to deal with theme parks, a lot of the outside guests. It's only people that are staying there. But, you know, no one in the lobby to check in masks on on property. And the room was actually ready
