Welcome back to the Conservative Conscience here on this fine Wednesday at Conservative Review.

And it is March 27th, 2019 in the year of the Lord.

Guess what? You know you want to hear the truth.

You know sometimes it's hard to hear the truth.

We speak the truth so much here that you want to turn this show off, but then you want to turn it back on.

Because I think all of you would rather know you're being screwed than think we're on the road to heaven here.

Now obviously not everything in life revolves around politics and we earn our time in heaven not from dealing with politics.

But we do care about this country and we do want to get things right.

I want to tie up some loose ends from our last couple of shows on talking points over policies.

Distractions over true victories, golden calves, political morphine, all under the umbrella theme today.

That Republicans wouldn't know how to wipe their rear ends without the existence of Democrats in the media.

Really? It seems like nobody knows what it means to be a Conservative anymore.

Nobody knows what they believe on our side, what it is they want other than just responding at any given moment to what the Democrats and their allies in the media are putting out whether it's a meme, whether it's a cultural flashpoint or whether it's a policy, a legislative item, whatever they put out we deal with.

This is embodied in my view so much in the dichotomy between the House and Senate schedules this week. It's amazing.
