Summary

All in all, the loss to the Minnesota Vikings might have been worse for them than it was for the Detroit Lions. Detroit Lions Podcast Sees Strength For the Lions, a group of scrappy young guys who many thought lacked NFL caliber talent stood up and played hard until the clock hit ‘0’. When it did, they lost by a field goal set up by one player being out of position on the play before. The team is close and the coaching is strong. There are wins to be had. Additionally, the team has been plagued by injuries. They rack up with Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow going to IR for the remainder of the season after having surgery on his toe. Some rookies (like our favorite UDFA CB Jerry Jacobs) are stepping up and showing what they can do – and we saw a lot. Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson did not have the day that anyone expected against the Lions secondary.
