Welcome back to another episode of Reality Life with Kate Casey.

I hope that you had a great weekend.

And I'm assuming if you also watched the Eurovision song contest like myself that you did.

If you did not, you've got to go down the rabbit hole and look this up on YouTube.

It is insane.

So it's this international song competition.

It's organized annually by the European Broadcasting Union.

So it features participants representing primarily European countries.

So each participating country submits an original song to be performed on live television

and radio.

Now when I tell you their performance are unlike anything you've ever seen, I mean it.

They're so over the top.

Their outfits are crazy.

The singing, some of it makes sense, some of it doesn't.

And you're just thinking the whole time, this is the country's best.

This is their choice.

So then it's transmitted to national broadcasters with competing countries then casting votes

for the other country's songs to determine a winner.

You should know that Will Farrell and Rachel McAdams are in a movie based, it's a spoof

based on this contest.

So you already know what we're dealing with.
