It's election day and I have to say that I'm feeling pretty good about it.

You might have heard a little bit of caution in my voice. I think all of us have at the very least a

little bit of caution, but I've been looking at live feeds of voting locations all over the country and I have a few reasons that I'm

feeling good about today.

I want to unpack and explain a little bit of that and then I want to invite all of you

to our election special tonight on twitch. It begins at 7 PM Eastern time. I'm going all

the way to 3 PM and 3. rather in the morning and want to see you there.

We now have over 15 guests lined up.

We're going to be covering candidates and ballot initiatives and elections that are hardly going to make it on mainstream news.

Let me unpack and explain all of that.

The breakdown. One of the dumbest things that any of us can do is a kind of Dewey defeats Truman type of thing and

celebrate a victory from Joe Biden before he's actually won he has not won. But as I look at voting across the country, what we know is that far and away more Democrats voted in early voting than Republicans.

And that's going to break not only for Joe Biden but is going to break for

Democratic candidates in congressional races, Senate races, state legislative races,

district attorneys races.

So that's going to break in a lot of ways that really matters.

It's going to help on ballot initiatives.

It's going to matter in a lot of different ways.

And today really has to be a mega day for Republicans and so far it's almost 1 p.m.

Eastern time as I record this, I don't see that.
