0:33.6	day, but to me it's also a somber day because Memorial Day is not just like
0:39.6	the 4th of July. They're similarities, but they're not exact. Memorial Day we
0:43.1	remember the men and women of our military, past and present, who have paid the
0:48.8	ultimate sacrifice in order that we should enjoy the freedom and the liberty to
0:53.2	do what we do on this show and to provide for our families and to worship the
0:57.1	God that we choose. And it's fitting that we celebrate the lives and the
1:01.2	sacrifice of these men and women by exercising our freedom, but it always has a
1:06.1	little bit. Maybe this is because I used to work for a veteran ad because
1:09.2	he company I worked with a lot of veterans. Veterans who served during the height
1:12.8	of the Iraq and Afghanistan war, they had lost a lot of brothers and sisters in
1:18.2	arms and there was always that current that ran through their patriotism, that
1:21.7	somber current. Maybe it's because I come from a military family, my husband,
1:27.1	served for so long, but it's celebratory, but it's also very humbling to think
1:32.2	that someone else is willing to lay down their life for us and for our country.
